One of our favorite clients enjoyed a weeklong Playa del Carmen family vacation with a little bit of Adventure, History, Celebration and Relaxation! Thank you to the Tovias family for sharing your experience with us!
I’m not sure who was more excited to begin planning their vacation. Me? Or them? I had just returned from another trip to the Riviera Maya, so I was eager to start recommending things to do. The Tovias are a young and active family, so there was no doubt that Xplor would be perfect for them. Xplor has 3 main attractions that will take you through the sky on a zipline, off roading in ATV’s and swimming through an underground cenote.
A day trip to the ancient Mayan City of Coba, took the Tovias family to the Coba Ruins. The Tovias family braved the 130 ft step climb to the top of one of Yucatan’s most famous Pyramids. The Coba Ruins are one of the few remaining archaeological sites that still allow the public to climb. Coba is about 1.5 hours south of Playa del Carmen, but the experience is worth the drive!
Sam and Minnie were also celebrating their wedding anniversary and wanted to plan a special dinner. There is no shortage of delicious dining in Playa del Carmen, but when you’re looking for great food and an unforgettable experience, look no further than Alux Restaurant. In February, my husband, Bryan, and I celebrated our Leap Year Anniversary with a Mayan Ceremony and Dinner at Alux. It was such a memorable and special experience for us, that I knew Sam and Minnie would enjoy. Safe to say they did.
A little shopping on Quinta Avenida and some relaxing on the beach was the perfect end to the Tovias Family Vacation!
Thank you Minnie, Sam, Ileyah & Hailey! WE hope you enjoyed your visit to Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
