The typical flying time is over eight hours to get to Tahiti and then short flights of less than an hour to the other major Islands such as Bora Bora and Moorea.

Bora Bora

When to Visit French Polynesia

French Polynesia is a collection of tropical islands and as such the temperatures are high throughout the year, ranging from 24 degrees to 32 degrees. You can, therefore, visit at any time throughout the year. However, rainy season is between November and April and the dry season is between June and August, which is the busiest months for tourists and also the most expensive time to visit. If you visit outside of these months, your travel costs will be more affordable.
