Riviera Maya

Rivera Maya is in Quintana Roo on the Yucatan Peninsula and is known for its long stretches of tropical Coastline. The area is world renowned for its stunning beaches and all-inclusive resorts. Riviera Maya is one of the favorite destinations for International travelers to Mexico. The main destinations that we recommend along the Riviera May strip include; Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, and Tulum.

Cancun is the ideal location to relax on a powdery white sand beach, stay in one of the most stunning all-inclusive resorts in the world and enjoy the top-notch nightlife. In addition to the beautiful resorts and nightlife, Cancun also offers additional attractions that will make your stay even more fulfilling. Some of these include; Xcaret Park, Coba, Xel-Ha Park and the Cancun Underwater Museum. The Cancun Underwater Museum offers the unique experience of viewing beautiful sculptures that are, well, under-water. You can see the sculptures by taking a glass bottom boat ride or by scuba diving.

Playa Del Carmen is a vibrant city on the Riviera Maya strip. It is known for its long stretches of palm-lined beaches and beautiful coral reefs. Playa Del Carmen also includes a variety of shopping, restaurants and fabulous bars and lounges. Some of the things not to miss when you visit Playa Del Carmen are Muyil – an ancient Mayan site, Rio Secreto – a secret underground river and Delphinus Riviera Maya which is a theme park where you can swim with dolphins.

When to Visit Mexico

Mexico is a vast country and has a variety of different seasons. The months with the least amount of rainfall are between December and April, which happens to be the winter tourist season. During this time most resorts and attractions charge premium prices compared to May to November. The rainy season in Mexico is generally between May and October, and the Caribbean coast can also experience Hurricane season from June to November. By and large, if you do not mind visiting when the resorts are crowded, you can travel in the busy months of December to April, and you will experience the best weather, however if you rather visit when the crowds and prices are less, and you don’t mind a little rain from time to time, then the summer and fall months will work perfectly for you.
